The Commonwealth Games 2010 that are to be held in Delhi has started rolling out mails calling volunteers for training.
Being part of the volunteer program myself I too got mail. As reported the venue for training is selected to be Amity engineering college situated at Sector-125 Noida.
It seems that government is doing its best to ensure maximum participation. The timings for the training are 8.30 am to 6 pm. The volunteers would be provided with a lot of snacks and meals. Amity University will provide, free of cost, lunch and refreshments during the training programme as below,
- By Metro
Board a metro to Noida Botanical Garden Metro station.
- By Bus
Board a bus to Noida Sector 37 Crossing and walk down to Noida Botanical Garden Metro station.
Amity University would be ferrying volunteers from 8am to 9am from Noida Botanical Metro station to Amity University Campus and after the training programme, back to Noida Botanical Metro Station free of cost.
If you are planning to drive down to Amity Campus sector 125 Noida in your personal vehicle, kindly ensure that you enter the campus through Gate No 2C, parking space would be provided.

i had my interview regarding cwg.it went good.but i havent receive any call(due to nervousness i typed wrong email id in form)

training on 3rd juiy amity university at 8.30...bt i hv'nt got any email .....but i got a call,,and i hv already confirmed my email id to them,,,,still not recived any email yet ......what can i do???plz help me...

i attended my general training on july 16 2010 and after that I have not yet received any e-mail or message for role specific training..... many of my classmates have been completed with their role specific training.... I request your honour to notify me as soon as possible.... I will be feel obliged...thanxs

but recently when i opened my volunteer portal on cwgdelhi website.. i saw my letter of intent..
and it was written there that my role is unassigned volunteer and venue is null.
what is this? i had attended all the trainings. . i was assigned a role.. our batch was the first one to attend all the trainings . .then what is this?
i have been trying to get to the people on phone.. but no one is answering..
